“Sleepy Hollow” returns tonight on Fox at 9pm and we are expecting something special from episode 2 “Blood Moon.” According to a recently leaked synopsis from SpoilerTV, Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills will be working together to “determine which witch is which,” as they experience a "vengeful" visitor from the 1700s.
Ichabod, who “died” in 1781, has mysteriously awakened in the 21st century and finds himself in modern-day Sleepy Hollow, New York. Not only does Ichabod awaken, but so does the Headless Horseman, whose head Ichabod chopped off before his “death.” He and Lieutenant Abbie Mills, who witnesses the beheading of the Sheriff, move forward “in their mission to unravel the mysteries lurking” in town.
While the Headless Horseman is adjusting to modern day weaponry and upping his killing spree, another evil force is lurking. The unlikely pair are on the hunt for a witch that has been awoken by evil “and is on a path of destruction in the quaint town.” Not only are multiple evil forces working against Ichabod and Abbie, but Officer Andy Brooks is back “and on a questionable mission of his own.”
