"The Simpsons" is planning to go live this May! Specifically, Homer Simpson will respond live to fans questions for three minutes time in the May 15th episode titled "The Marge-ian Chronicles."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, voice actor Dan Castellaneta will be "discussing topical subjects and responding to fan questions" during the live segment, which will air live on the network's East and West Coast broadcasts.

You can be one of the lucky fans to have your question answered if you tweet using the hashtag "#HomerLive" between May 1st through 4th.

Showrunner Al Jean says the live segment is possible due to a mocap technology that allows Castellaneta's voice and movements to be quickly translated into animation. Jean also boast about the fact that this is the first time its been done by any animated show saying:

"As far as I know, this is the first time that's been done by any animated show, and Dan is a great improviser."

"The Simpsons" airs new episodes Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
