Sherlyn is making it official with her new boyfriend and confirmed the news via Twitter. The Mexican actress is dating Francisco Zea, a television journalist for the Imagen network. It was the latter that wrote on his social network that he starting a new relationship. "I am really happy to share with you all the illusion of starting a beautiful and much desired relationship, from today and for ever," Zea wrote. The "Antes Muerta Que Lichita" star also took to Twitter to talk about this new phase in her life: "With patience, maturity and love, my heart is ready to write a new story and I wanted to share that with you."
Francisco Zea replied to Sherlyn with the following message: "My love! I want to tell you that you have returned hope of having a relationship. It was in 2015 when Sherlyn acknowledge she was living through a marriage crisis with her then husband Gerardo Islas. "The topic of marriage is not an easy one," she told Televisa Espectáculos at the time. "Sometimes we come across difficult moments and right now it is one of those. We are not clear of what we are going to do, nor what we are going to decide, but we have a lot of communication."
At the time, Sherlyn didn't give up easily and fought for her marriage. "We have the most important part that is love," she added. "We hope to overcome this complicated part and in the meantime be grateful with the people that sends us nice messages." The actress from telenovelas like "Camaleones" and "Clase 406" also went on to say, "we are going through a moment of crisis and we need to assume it. If we are able to overcome this, it will be beautiful, if we don't, we will need to be smart enough to transcend this."
