Arrested and charged with first-degree murder last week, Aaron Hernandez continues to be the focus of multiple police investigations.

After the body of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd -- a former semiprofessional football player in Boston -- was found dead on June 17 in a park just outside North Attleborough, Massachusetts, local and state police began to investigate why Lloyd was murdered execution-style. Aaron Hernandez lived nearby and was an acquaintance of Odin Lloyd, so the former NFL star was instantaneously involved although not immediately considered a suspect.

Gathering enough evidence to make an arrest, Hernandez was escorted from his North Attleborough mansion last week and taken to a nearby court where he was subsequently charged with murder and five gun-related incidents. In addition to being charged with murder in the Odin Lloyd case, Hernandez is also the focus of a double murder case that took place in Boston last July.

To make matters worse, the former University of Florida standout was also involved in a 2007 bar fight while attending college. The end result of the fight was a broken ear drum for the victim according to Sports Illustrated.

Additionally, TMZ is reporting that the former New England Patriots tight end was involved in a domestic disturbance with fiancée Shayanna Jenkins last summer while the two were staying at their rental home in Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles.

When police arrived, Jenkins said she was ok and didn't want to press charges so they left without making an arrest.

Law enforcement sources also tell us, cops came to the house several other times after neighbors made noise complaints. One source says Hernandez "acted like an a**hole" when cops responded.

While it won't come as a surprise to learn that Aaron Hernandez also had an apparent anger problem, TMZ reports that only months before the 23-year-old was arrested and charged with murder, Hernandez had the police called to his house by his fiancée because he punched a window and suffered significant bleeding.

Throwing a party and hanging with some of his friends at the aforementioned Hermosa Beach house, Aaron Hernandez reportedly grew angry when Jenkins wanted to end the get-together after about 17 hours. Arguing with his fiancée, Hernandez punched a window in anger and immediately began to bleed.

Aiming to end the party in quick fashion, TMZ indicates that Jenkins called the authorities. Police officials noted that multiple officers had visited the home on more than one occasion and that each time they showed up, Hernandez grew increasingly disrespectful.

In the wake of his murder charge, these recent reports about Aaron Hernandez and his issues with violence, anger and domestic abuse certainly won't help his credibility moving forward.
