The 20-year-old singer and songwriter collected numerous awards under his belt and is recently nominated in the prestigious 2019 Grammy Awards for “In My Blood.” The song, which he performed live in the award’s night, along with Miley Cyrus, received a nod for Song of the Year category.

His career is expanding beyond and now has reached celebrity status when he posed for the Calvin Klein campaign. Years ago, David Beckham and Justin Bieber famously posed for the same underwear campaign, and this year, it is Mendes. Of course Mendes looks sizzling hot in CK’s signature boxer brief, and the internet quickly responded. Even A-listers Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod were not able to help themselves and commented on his photo on his Instagram account.

Delighted fans created different jokes, and memes stemmed from Mendes’ campaign photo. His sexy and buffed body was also compared to a bread. Many agreed, though.

Now Mendes had flaunted almost everything in his life, or body. One thing he has not shown or confirmed yet is his girlfriend. But there is one question he has yet to answer, is he even dating?

Back in 2013, when Mendes was not that famous at all, he proposed via Twitter to actress and internet personality Andrea Russett. Mendes got her yes six years later after Russett responded also via Twitter with “Okay, fine!” Twitterverse of course did not take the exchange seriously.

If Mendes has a girlfriend or is dating, fans will know right away. He admitted that he is pretty open with his relationship status, just like what he did with reported ex-girlfriend Hailey Baldwin. The two never did admit to anything, but they were seen several times together during special events.

Mendes confessed currently that he has no game and is doing fine being single. When asked if he is open to dating his fans, he answered “The star shock only lasts a few hours.”

For fans who are hoping for a chance with Mendes, there is definitely some.
