In the snap, Mendes holds Cabello’s face while kissing her. His eyes are closed, and Cabello’s head is resting against a yellow-colored wall. This week, the “Señorita” singers dined at the Montreal Café Aunja.

Mendes is currently in Montreal for his back-to-back performances. He and Cabello will return to the United States to prepare for their upcoming shows in Brooklyn on Oct. 23 and 24. The singers are also expected to attend the MTV VMAs together.

Last month, a source said that Mendes and Cabello are dating. “The timing wasn't right before but it is right, right now,” the source told E! News. “They are going for it without holding back. This step in their relationship is exciting for them both. They haven't wanted to be apart at all. It's 24/7 and all out at this point,” the source added.

The couple’s sighting came amid rumors that their so-called relationship is fake. Some critics claimed that Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are faking their romance to promote their latest single, as well as their upcoming performances.

Other critics also said that the singers have zero chemistry with each other. There have also been some ongoing rumors suggesting that Mendes is gay.

But Cabello tried to silence the haters by reportedly blocking them on social media. Those who have been saying that she and Mendes are not really an item have been blocked from her Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Cabello was praised by her fans for not allowing the negativity of other people to get to her. They also said that the singer is so protective of the people she loves dearly.

However, one fan of Cabello said that the singer probably wasn’t the one who blocked the trolls on social media. Rather, it’s someone from her team.
