Shawn Mendes just answered some questions that fans are dying to know about him. The singer just stripped down again in a series of new photos of Calvin Klein’s latest campaign.
Second Calvin Klein Shoot
While speaking with WHO, Mendes said that he felt more comfortable while doing his second campaign for the brand. But the first time he posed for photos in his underwear, the singer admitted to feeling nervous.
Being A Hearthrob
The “Treat You Better” singer was also asked if his being a heartthrob interferes with making genuine connections with women, and he said that it doesn’t. Mendes said that no matter how big things get or how successful he becomes, he always reminds himself to keep things as normal as possible and to stay humble.
Staying Grounded
Mendes also sees to it that he goes back to Toronto to hang out with his family and friends to keep him grounded. The singer said that his family has always been supportive of his career.
Battle With Anxiety
In the past, Mendes has spoken up about his battles with anxiety. At present, he still battles with the same problem, but he has become more open about it by sharing it with other people.
“Talking about the problem, putting it out there, was one of the scariest but most important things I’ve ever done,” he said. “Just doing that helped me the most. I still struggle with it, but just remember every day that everyone deals with some level of anxiety or pressure; we’re all in it together,” Mendes added.
In related news, the “Stitches” crooner also made headlines today after he uploaded a throwback photo on his Instagram account. In the snap, a young Mendes is looking straight into the camera while drinking from a blue plastic cup.
He is also wearing an oversized grey sweatshirt, and his blonde hair is in a little bit of a mess. But what makes the photo memorable is the fact that Mendes has stud earrings on both of his ears.
In his caption, Mendes revealed that the photo was taken when he was in second grade. He also said that his hair was cut by his mom.
