The Real Madrid star is definitely on cloud nine. He recently announced that he has become a father for the second time to a beautiful baby boy named Samuel.
Rodriguez shared this lovely news with all his fans on Instagram, where he wrote, "Hello, I want to share with you an immense joy. Today God allows me to be a father again by honoring us with Samuel's arrival in our family. We are happy at home living this wonderful moment. Thank you very much in advance for your kindness, respect and prudence."
James hasn't confirmed the identity of the mother yet though. But, if speculations are to be believed, the baby is said to be conceived through surrogacy. That being said, the Columbian soccer player has been going steady with his girlfriend, Shannon de Lima, for a couple of years now.
Who Is Shannon de Lima?
His loyal fans were undeniably surprised with the arrival of the newest family member. While some hope that the little one will inherit his father's extraordinary soccer skills, some want to know more about Rodriguez's relationship with de Lima.
The couple began dating in 2018 and look very much in love. The soccer star also opened up to a German magazine saying, "With Shannon, we live together here in Munich, and we have a good relationship."
The couple were residing together in Germany as Rodriguez was playing for FC Bayern München following a loan deal with Real Madrid.
But for those of you who wondered if this Venezuelan Beauty was the baby's momma, we are here to tell you, she isn't. Her Instagram page makes it quite evident that she wasn't pregnant in 2019 although she is a mom to a 12-year-old with her ex, actor Manuel Sosa.
If you think she looks familiar, it might be because she was once married to Marc Antony, who also happens to be Jennifer Lopez's ex. James is also a proud father to a wonderful baby girl with his ex-wife, Daniela Ospina.
