All new mothers will agree that the first months are the hardest -- but while you are trying to juggle it with a sucessful career, and a judging spot in a popular TV show, it can seem like the plate is too full.
Or, as Shakira puts it, "deliciously overwhelming."
"It's surreal. It's a whole new experience to me, and I am just discovering it second by second. And having him here, it's great, it's a new thing, it's another part of me and my loved one. He's accompanying me so I don't feel alone," she said.
The Colombian superstar talked to Today about the "The Voice"s success, joined by her fellow judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and newcomer Usher. They gushed about their chemistry on set, the contestants and having baby Milan on set. Watch the video of the interview here.
Shakira said that she enjoys the hustle and bustle of being a single mom, but that "The Voice" brings here a different kind of stress.
"In "The Voice" you have the opportunity to watch the results of all the ahrd work and to see how much progress your artists have made, or not made," she said to Al Roker from Today. "But at the same time you have to let one of them go and it's sad. Sometimes, the guilt is overwhelming."
The one man the singer will not let go, obviously, is her baby Milan. Earlier this month, Shakira released a picture of her and her little man onset, smiling.
"Milan looks very intrigued by this contestant," she tweeted.
