Shakira, Pique Cross Paths During Son’s Weekend Sporting Activity

Shakira and George Pique are barely a week off since their divorce, a legal battle that had its share of ups and downs – particularly the battle for custody of their kids.

Both were spotted over the weekend attending their son’s, Milan, sporting event. It was the first time that the two personalities crossed paths since the divorce settlement.

Semana magazine was able to take photos of the singer and former Spanish footballer. From the snaps alone, it was clear that the two were not too pleased to see each other, both not even exchanging glances.

The 45-year-old singer was reportedly the first one to arrive at the venue. She was accompanied by her brother and her son.

Pique, on the other hand, attended the game with his parents but without his current girlfriend, Clara Chia.

Although it was noticed that there was still friction in the air between the two, both supported their son throughout the basketball game.

For her part, the Colombian singer appears to have gotten over the breakup. She was very accommodating and friendly to everyone, not hesitating to take pictures with some fans who recognized and approached her.

When the game was over, Milan and his sister Sasha left the venue in their father’s car after saying goodbye to their mother.

Part of the divorce agreement includes the children having to live in Miami. However, both will spend Christmas with their father and family in Barcelona.

The couple confirmed their split in June and signed a custody agreement for their two kids last month with Shakira set to move to Miami.

It was also earlier this week when Pique was spotted getting cozy with his new 23-year-old girlfriend although it was mentioned in a report by Antena 3 that their relationship is not perfect.

This stems from a scene where Pique and Chia were spotted leaving a restaurant. The 23-year-old’s face shows sadness.

"Pique holds her purse and seems to be telling her something, but she, with a frown, isn't even able to look at his face," the outlet stated.
