Shakira has won her first legal battle against Antonio de la Rua after he requested access to one of her bank accounts in Switzerland.
De La Rua told the Geneva court he should have rights to dip into the account since it held most of the assets from their business partnership.

The Swiss judge blocked his request as Antonio did not provide enough proof that the two had a binding agreement and their was no written document.

The "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker and "The Voice" coach ended her relationship with Antonio in 2011 after 11 years. De La Rua claimed he had a verbal agreement with Shakira to continue working together even after the break-up.
