Manuel is kidnapped by the people of Teca but when they take him to el Capo they discovered that he is employed by Indio Amaro. Cornelia meets Teca and assures him that Sara is the only thief in the group of women working for him, and can also take him to the place where Señora Acero hides the stolen money. Alvaro Barba is shot straight in the head by a hit man Felipe sent. Now that Barba is dead it puts Felipe automatically in the position of governor.
Teca and Indio Amaro confront Manuel about his involvement with Sara. They remind him he is hired to watch her every move not to fall in love with her.
Carlota asks to meet Teca so that she can expose Sara. She wants to tell him that Sara has been stealing his money and that she has proof since she managed her accounting.
Diego seduces Alicia but when he asks her what she does for a living she gets nervous and changes the subject.
Teca points a gun on Manuel's head threatening his life telling him he either agrees to help them adbuct Salvador or he dies. Once he is done with the mission he is to return to Colombia. Manuel had no choice but to accept the deal.
Teca agrees to meet Carlota and warns her that she will die if she has no credible information to give. Carlota said she can show him where the money Sara has been stealing is hidden.
Manuel tells Sara he loves her and is willing to die for her.
