Selena Gomez just dropped a new photo of herself wearing a sultry red two-piece swimsuit. Her photo was released just days after her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, was accused to be searching her name online.
In a second photo, Gomez posed in a zipped-up version of her red swimsuit, which she helped design for Krahs Swim. In both photos, Gomez is looking straight into the camera. But in the first picture, the singer has a serious look on her face. In the second photo, she is smiling from ear to ear.
Two years ago, Gomez underwent a kidney transplant after her good friend, Francia Raisa, donated one of her organs to the award-winning singer. Prior to the procedure, Gomez had been battling lupus for years.
Following the surgery, Gomez decided to team up with her best friend, Theresa Mingus, in creating a range of swimwear that will be launched on Thursday. In a video promoting her last collaboration, Gomez said that she had a good time designing.
“The design I did, one of them, it was the high-waisted one with the belt,” she said. “I’ve had a kidney transplant and I like bathing suits that kind of cover where that’s been and make me feel comfortable,” she added.
In related news, Gomez and Bieber are still being linked to each other even though they’ve split a long time ago. Last week, the “Sorry” singer uploaded a post on his Instagram Story that showed Gomez’s name listed in his search history.
Eagle-eyed fans immediately accused Bieber of stalking Gomez even while he is the company of his wife, Hailey Baldwin. But Bieber was quick to explain that he and his wife were watching his performance at Coachella and Gomez’s set played right after his.
“I have nothing to hide,” Bieber said. “I don’t know it was there. Didn’t think twice and still don’t care. Have nothing to hide,” he added.
In a follow-up post, Bieber said that the video of Gomez singing “Taki Taki” came up after he and Baldwin watched his Coachella performance. This is the reason why Gomez was in his related category.
