Selena Gomez is on the hustling mode and is loving every bit of her life at present. The 27-year-old singer recently gave fans a peek into what’s cooking—cooped up inside a recording studio, working on something that she calls a “dream team session”. Gomez was spotted rehearsing with bestie Julia Michaels and songwriter Justin Tranter.
By the looks of it, the “Wolves” singer has left her past behind and she’s really focused on getting better at her craft as a musician. While there are speculations surrounding what exactly is it that the trio is rustling up, Gomez also quipped that she could be confusing her label. “We should probably stop though … I'm just confusing my label now,” said Gomez, on one of her Instagram stories. This was not all. Turns out, Gomez spent the entire day at the studio. “Well still here,” she added.
Not too long ago, the young singer had appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, where she revealed how much this upcoming album meant to her. “It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album,” said Gomez, to show host Jimmy Fallon. “And it's just because I had such huge moments that happened in my life personally that [it was like] how was I going to capture that and how was I actually going to feel good about what I was saying? So, I kept going and I'm relieved now,” she added.
Since it was at a very nascent stage back then, Gomez didn’t divulge much about the album. But, roughly about four months later, she seems to be dropping bigger cues. Back then, Gomez had mentioned that the overall vibe of the forthcoming album was going to have “a strong sense of pop”.
Gomez who recently had a devastating breakup with Justin Bieber (who’s currently married to Hailey Baldwin) rustled up two break-up anthems titled, “Lose You To Love Me”. And “Look At Her Now”. She has always maintained that dishing out songs that resonate with her fans will always be the key impetus behind all her works.
Now that Gomez is on a roll professionally with both her recent tracks having done really well, fans are anticipating another gem in the pipeline!
