With week 10 of the NFL now in the rearview mirror, we can take a look at some of the stand-out performances from Hispanics around the league. An exciting week of games means there were some exciting performances.
Here’s a look at the 4 Hispanics whose performances stood out in week 10:
1. Eddy Piñeiro, K, Carolina Panthers (Cuba)
Piñeiro had a big week for the Panthers, scoring 4 field goals in their 25-15 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Piñeiro hit field goals from 46, 49, 37, and 40 yards. However, Piñeiro did miss one of his two extra-point attempts. Still, Piñeiro’s big night was a big reason the Panthers pulled out a win.
2. Chris Olave, WR, New Orleans Saints, (Cuba)
Olave continues his stellar season recording another 3 receptions for a total of 40 yards. His longest reception was for 14 yards. Despite this, the Saints came up short against Los Angeles Rams, losing 20-10. Olave has been one of the best offensive rookies in the NFL this season.
3. Fred Warner, LB, San Francisco 49ers, (Panama)
Warner continues to be a nuisance for opposing offenses. Warner had 7 tackles in the 49ers 22-16 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Warner’s performance came in a big game and as the 49ers’ defensive captain, he consistently shows why he has the reputation he does.
4. Isiah Pacheco, RB, Kansas City Chiefs, (Dominican)
Pacheco might have had his best game of the season against the Jaguars this week. He had 16 rushing attempts for 82 yards. His longest run was for 13 yards. He had become a serious weapon for the Cheifs who already have one of the best offenses in the league.
