Sebastien de la Cruz made headlines back in June when he performed the National Anthem at one of the NBA Finals games dressed as a mariachi. His outfit sparked numerous tweets with a lot of racial content and many said it was an "insult" having a Mexican perform America's song. Some even suggested the kid was in this country illegally.

De la Cruz, however, was born in the United States and barely speaks Spanish, although he's made a living singing traditional Spanish boleros in a mariachi style. He's known as "El Charro De Oro" and had a fan base since before he appeared on "America's Got Talent" or performed at the Finals.

The charismatic 11-year-old experienced even more recognition after the NBA stint, and went on many national and international shows, brushing off racist comments in an eloquent manner and demonstrating his talent, captivating audiences with his powerful voice.

He's continued to perform and sometimes is booked for private events. But someone in particular wasn't expecting him to sing at her dinner party, and was pleasantly surprised when he did.

"OMG I was surprised tonight by a serenade by my favorite singer in the world! @selcharrodeoro Sebastien De La Cruz!!!" tweeted Eva Longoria during the weekend after receiving a surprise appearance from De la Cruz at a dinner party in San Antonio benefitting the Eva Longoria Foundation.

The tweet had a picture of Eva donning a curve-hugging red dress that only she can pull off and look flawless, and Sebastien, in his typical mariachi attire.

Later that night she posted the video of the moment Sebastien serenaded her and added "What a voice!" The young man sang "Bésame Mucho" which means "kiss me much," his go-to song to impress the ladies (he dedicated that song to Sharon Osbourne during his "America's Got Talent" audition) and mesmerized everyone present when he shared his gift and proved he's not only talented, but also a true gentleman.
