Sebastián Rulli showed his true colors when he was approached by a reporter at a location from his upcoming telenovela "Papá A Toda Madre." The actor is among a group at Televisa that held an exclusivity contract, which was meant to retain talent at the network and prohibited them to work anywhere else, unless it was previously authorized. With the dynamics changing in the television industry in México, and to cut costs, they have been not renewing contracts as they were becoming too expensive. It was recently rumored that Rulli was one of many well-known personalities that no longer receive the monthly fee, but he says it's not true.
Maybe tired from the constant questioning about the same thing got the best of Angelique Boyer's man that he ended up lashing out at the "Suelta La Sopa" reporter when he brought up the subject. "You are the type that lie without knowing," Rulli said trying to keep calm. "You are a person that calls himself a journalist and just to talk you lie." The reporter was unfazed and insisted in questioning the actor, because what better way to clear up a rumor by asking the source of the subject, right? Well Sebastián was not having it and told him: "It's not important to clear up the matter, what is important is that you, as a journalist, get to work." Sebastián Rulli was announced as the lead of "Papá A Toda Madre" where his love interest will be Maite Perroni. Also in the comedy series is Mark Tacher, someone who Rulli had beef with in the past. Tacher recently said: "Yes, yes, shoulder to shoulder, elbow to elbow. It was mentioned on social media that I was going to be the villain, but I am Rulli's best friend [in the series], I am like his counselor on how to manage his company. I have the utmost respect for Sebastián, ultimately him and I never had a problem and any comment out of order I apologize. I never tried to offend. Working alongside Sebastián, he's a successful person, creative, very disciplined, that has had much success, it's a pleasure for me."
Rulli recently spoke to Televisa Espectáculos about the awkward situation, but it was his son Santi that asked him to forgive Tacher. "We didn't know each other in person, but my son Santi always had good things to say about Mark and asked me to forgive him for what he said," Rulli explained. "He says he's an educated person, and dedicated. My son loves him a lot and was able to find a beautiful friendship, so let's see how things work out."
