Scott Disick is rumored to already be feeling the pressure of proposing to Sofia Richie because of Kris Jenner. Disick and Richie have been dating for 2 years.
A tabloid recently claimed that Jenner has been urging Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend to give his supermodel girlfriend an engagement ring as soon as possible. The momager allegedly wants the proposal to be captured on camera, but Disick refused to follow Jenner’s suggestions.
“He wants to do this under his terms, and everyone is getting really impatient,” an unnamed source said. “Scott loves Sofia, this is obvious, but he refuses to be forced into anything,” the source added.
But according to rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, there’s no truth to the claims. After reaching out to Disick’s rep, the publication was told that the story is complete nonsense. Jenner hasn’t been pressuring Disick to marry Richie on and off camera.
The publication also said that the fact that the tabloid was unable to name its source is an obvious red flag. Additionally, the tabloid was unable to say whether Jenner wants Disick’s proposal to be featured in “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” or “Flip It Like Disick.” This proves that the story isn’t factual.
This isn’t the first time that Jenner was rumored to be meddling in the lives of her daughters and their partners to make a profit. Another tabloid previously published a story claiming that Jenner was forcing two of her daughters to get pregnant to gain more publicity.
Disick was also rumored to have split from Richie last year. However, the couple never split. In fact, they were recently spotted together in Italy for Kylie Jenner’s 22nd birthday party.
Last year, the same tabloid claimed that Disick and Richie were moving to Mexico. However, this premise was once again proven to be incorrect. Disick and Richie enjoy vacationing in Mexico, but it is unlikely that they will relocate there.
After all, Disick’s three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, are in Los Angeles with their mom. Richie also lives in L.A. at the moment.
