Tonight is the season five finale of "Scandal" on ABC and the episode, titled "That's My Girl," is sure to bring the drama the political series is known for.
In the promo trailer for episode 21, "That's My Girl," ABC teases that viewers will be able to guess how the season will wrap up. We also see scenes of Cyrus (Jeff Perry) having a serious conversation with Eli (Joe Morton), Jake (Scott Foley) stating he has an emergency while on the phone with an unknown caller, and Melli (Bellamy Young) and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) having what looks to be an intense conversation. The promo ends with Jake telling Olivia (Kerry Washington) to get him out.
Furthermore, the network released two sneak peek clips. The first shows Edison (Norm Lewis) visiting Olivia to let her know of Jake's message. The second clip shows Olivia and team having narrowed down Mellie's VP to three possible candidates, but who those people are still undisclosed.
The synopsis for "That's My Girl" on The Futon Critic reads: "As each presidential candidate gets ready to announce their running mate, Olivia finds herself in a potentially dire situation. Meanwhile, Cyrus is presented with damaging information that could alter the presidential race entirely."
The "Scandal" season five finale will air on Thursday, May 12, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. It will also be available the next day on abc.com, iTunes, Hulu, Amazon and more. Prices will vary for episode cost.
