Sarah Palin and daughter Bristol Palin have clearly lost a lot of weight, and now Sarah plans to share her secrets in a new book.
In an email to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Palin announced the news of the new book.
"Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods," she wrote.
Fittingly, Palin has a son named Track, who she said was born in that sport's season.
In a 2008 interview with the Wall Street Journal, the mother of five revealed that her family eats what some might call an "unconventional diet."
"My family and I eat a healthy diet heavy in wild Alaskan seafood, moose, caribou and fresh fruit," Palin said. "I guess my biggest pitfall is breakfast. I know it's the most important meal of the day but I still haven't bought into it. I hate to admit it, but a skinny white-chocolate mocha is my staple in the morning."
She also said she loves running and it has always been a "family affair" - Her parents were marathoners and high school track and cross-country coaches.
According to PEOPLE, the former vice-presidential nominee will discuss the topics in the "unique and motivating book."
"We promise you what we do works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy," Palin said.
The former governor of Alaska is no stranger to the world of authoring. She has written two books: Going Rogue, a memoir written after the 2008 campaign, and America by Heart : Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag, a collection of inspirational stories.
Palin did not say when she plans to release the book.
