When it was determined that San Antonio and Golden State would meet in the 2013 Western Conference Semifinals, many thought the series would be a closely fought battle that would last the maximum 7 games.

Through 4 games, the series has certainly held true to form as each team has won 2 games, setting up the biggest game of the season for both squads.

Game 5 from the AT&T Center in San Antonio will tip on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:30pm, EDT. Television coverage will be available through the TNT network.

The Warriors evened the series at 2 games apiece Sunday with a 97-87 overtime victory at home. For all the accolades guard Stephen Curry has received for his lights out shooting in the postseason, Harrison Barnes was the game 4 MVP for Golden State.

Barnes picked the perfect time to reach his career-high in points as he dropped 26 on the Spurs while grabbing 10 rebounds. The former North Carolina standout was especially clutch in the fourth quarter as he scored 11 points in the frame, helping the Warriors take the game into overtime where they'd eventually pull away.

Stephen Curry patrolled the perimeter for Golden State, connecting on 7-of-15 shots from the field for 22 points. Along with Curry and Barnes, Jarrett Jack provided the Western Conference No. 6-seed with 24 points as the Warriors outscored the Spurs 13-3 in the overtime session for a 10-point victory.

Watching his team buckle down the stretch as they shot a dismal 2-of-18 from the floor in the final 4 minutes of regulation and overtime, Spurs guard Manu Ginobili knows San Antonio missed out on the opportunity to take a 3-1 series lead back home.

"In overtime, we just stopped scoring," Ginobili said to NBA.com reporters. "We kept running the same plays, our usual stuff, and it just didn't fall. They made every shot in overtime. What's disappointing is, we had them were we wanted. We blew it."

In 37 minutes of action, Ginobili was an efficient 8-of-18 from the floor while scoring a team-high 21 points but it was simply not enough. Golden State dialed up their defensive intensity down the stretch and really hindered the offensive rhythm of the Spurs at the most critical moments of the game.

With his offensive unit struggling mightily at times, Spurs head coach Greg Popovich hopes San Antonio can get back to the offensive cohesiveness that guided them to a 58-win season and the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

"We've never shot this poorly for this many games in a stretch," Popovich told NBA.com reporters. "Hopefully it's an aberration to be that bad.

San Antonio should be somewhat concerned with their offense as this series moves along but the fact that they've been in each game may bode well for them down the line.

As they look to take a 3-2 series lead from the confines of their own home court, be sure to catch the Spurs and Golden State Warriors meet in a crucial game 5 on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:30pm, EDT. Coverage will be provided by the TNT television network.
