Samsung’s marketing plan for the company’s upcoming products for 2014 has been outlined with the intro video for the Galaxy S5. Samsung looks to be moving away from the sights and sounds of nature and focusing on solving real world problems with its “real people” marketing plan. The introduction video echoes what was said at the launch event in Barcelona which states the company is focusing on software to show that’s where they are the best.
Not to say that they aren’t focused on the hardware of their upcoming devices, just look at the Galaxy S5. The new smartphone sticks to the company’s strengths focusing on a high quality display, awesome battery life and software that that the user can personalize and actually cares about.
Samsung wants the Galaxy S5 to be about the experience above all else and not just the hardware within the device. By utilizing great hardware and software Samsung is hoping to make the Galaxy S5 experience feel like a high-end one all the time. The company is really dedicated to this “real people” campaign especially seeing features like the heart rate sensor to help provide its customer with a healthier lifestyle.
