This year, bars across America are taking their cocktail crafting skills beyond a classic Margarita and raising a glass to the victory at the Battle of Puebla with an authentic Mexican-inspired sip.

1. Hot Hands

1 oz Cazadores Reposado
½ oz. chili infused Cazadores repo
½ grapefruit
¼ oz. lime
¼ oz. agave nectar
6-8 mint leaves
1 grapefruit peel
1 ½ oz. Martini and Rossi prosecco *bottom
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Rim a chilled champagne flute with salt and pour prosecco into the glass. Fill shaker with ice and hard shake. Fine strain into the flute over the prosecco.
2. Sandia Slurpee

1 ¾ oz. Cazadores Blanco
1 oz. watermelon puree
½ oz. Campari
½ oz Strawberry Syrup
Jalapeno salt rim
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a blender with ice. Blend and pour into a glass with a jalapeno salt rim. Watermelon puree: blend fresh watermelon, strain. Jalapeno salt: dehydrate jalapenos, finely chop and mix with Maldon sea salt
3. Latini

2 oz. Cazadores Reposado
2 oz. Latini-syrup
1 oz. fresh lime juice
- Latini Syrup Recipe
3 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
8 Guajillo or New Mexico dried chiles
1 pasilla chile
3 slices of orange
3 oz. fresh lime juice
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, boil water, sugar, chile, orange slices for 15 minutes, cool and add lime juice, strain into a glass container. Keep refrigerated. Shake together all ingredients with ice and serve up with a Tajin rimmed martini glass.
4. Papaya Margarita
1.5oz Cazadores Blanco
1oz Papaya Puree or fresh Papaya
1/2oz Lime juice
1/2oz Grapefruit Juice
1/4oz Agave Nectar
1/2oz Ancho Reyes
DIRECTIONS
Build-in shaker with ice, shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain over ice in on Tajin Rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with Grapefruit or Papaya slice.
5. High Plains Margarita

1.5 oz Patrón
Silver.5 oz
Patrón Citrónge Orange
2 Slices charred pineapple
.25 oz Yuzu juice*
.5 oz Fresh lime juice
.25 oz Simple syruP
+ 4 Sage leaves, 2 for garnish
+ 2 dash Lime bitters
+ Slice charred pineapple for garnish
+ Chipotle salt rim**
*If Yuzu juice is not available, substitute 2 parts lemon juice: 1 part orange juice.
**Chipotle salt rim
.5 cup salt +
.75 tsp dried chipotle powder
DIRECTIONS
Char 2 pineapple slices and reserve one slice. Combine two pieces of pineapple, 4 sage leaves, and simple syrup in shaker and muddle. Add remaining liquid ingredients and shake vigorously with ice to chill. Double strain onto fresh ice in a chipotle-salt rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with a slice of charred pineapple and two sage leaves.
6. Coralina Margarita

1.75 oz Patrón Reposado
.75 oz Patrón Citrónge Orange
.75 oz Simple syrup
1 oz Fresh lime juice
.5 oz Red Wine (Mexican, or other)
+ Sugar-salt rim*

DIRECTIONS
Pulverize .25 cup dried hibiscus in a spice grinder. Add .25 cup sugar and .25 cup kosher salt and pulse until combined. Combine Patrón Reposado, Patrón Citrónge Orange, simple syrup and lime juice in a shaker tin; add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe rimmed with a sugar-salt rim.* Carefully float red wine on the surface of the cocktail and garnish with a lime wheel.
7. English Garden Margarita

1.5 oz Patrón Silver
.5 oz Patrón Citrónge Orange
.75 oz Fresh lemon juice
.5 oz Apricot liqueur
.5 oz Earl Grey tea syrup*
+ 3 Drops orange flower water
+ 2 Sugar snap peas, one for garnish
+ 2 Sprigs mint, one for garnish
+ Pumpkin oil and smoked salt rim
*Earl Grey tea syrup:
DIRECTIONS
Combine simple syrup with hot water and 5 tea bags. In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle 1 sugar snap pea and 1 mint sprig with Earl Grey tea syrup.* Add liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker, along with 1 cracked sugar snap pea and 1 sprig of mint. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Use a fine strainer to strain into glass rimmed with pumpkin oil and smoked salt. Garnish with a mint sprig and sugar snap pea.
8. Tepache Kid

2 parts Tres Agaves Añejo
1 part pineapple puree
1 part tamarind syrup (tamarind paste mixed with equal parts refined sugar and water)
2 dash angostura bitters
DIRECTIONS
Pour all ingredients into the shaker with ice; shake and strain on the rocks and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
9. Angry-Rita

4 oz Angry Orchard Crisp Apple
1 oz Blanco Tequila
0.5 oz Grenadine
0.5 oz Lime Juice
Dash of Angostura Bitters
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients except for cider in a cocktail shaker and shake. Pour into a rocks glass with ice and top with Angry Orchard Crisp Apple. Garnish with a lime wheel.
10. DOS-A-RITA

12 oz Dos Equis Lager
1/2 oz 1800 Silver Tequila
1/4 oz triple sec
2 oz sour mix
Coarse salt
Lime wedge for garnish
Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine tequila, triple sec, sour mix, and ice in a mixing glass and shake. Strain over fresh ice into a 16-oz. glass with a salted rim. For a frozen drink, blend with ice. Top off with Dos Equis Lager Especial. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.
11. La Cazuelita

1/2 oz Lime Juice
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
6 oz Red Bull Summer Edition Grapefruit Twist

DIRECTIONS
In a glass, mix all ingredients together and add ice. Garnish with lemon, lime, and orange wheels.
12. Piña Limeade

1 oz Lime Juice
1/2 tsp Agave Nectar
4 oz Red Bull Lime Edition Sugarfree
3 Pineapple Slices
Pineapple Leaves
DIRECTIONS
Muddle the pineapple slices. Add lime juice, agave nectar, and ice. Shake well and strain over a glass with ice. Add Red Bull Lime Edition Sugarfree. Garnish with pineapple leaves.
