One victory away from her first major victory, Lisicki has been strong throughout this grand slam event, taking down some of the game's top talents. Before defeating No. 4 Agnieska Radwanska in the semifinal round, the 23-year-old ended the 34-match win streak of Serena Williams in the Round of 16.

Taking the first set from her semifinal opponent before dropping the second, Lisicki found herself in a grueling final frame. Eventually outlasting Radwanska 9-7, the rising star knows she can win every match she enters, even when she is forced to come from behind like she was against Serena and in the semi's.

"I just fought with all my heart," Lisicki told reporters after advancing to the final. "I believed that I could still win, no matter what the score was. I thought, I've [come back] against Serena, so you can do it today as well. Just hang in there. It gave me so much confidence."

While Lisicki is full of confidence, No. 15 Marion Bartoli has every reason to belive she can walk away with her first Grand Slam championship as well.

Winning every one of her first 6 singles matches in two-set fashion, Bartoli has certainly been the most dominant player in the 2013 tournament. Consistency on serve along with strong net play continues to keep the 28-year-old Le Puy-en-Velay, France native in contention at Wimbledon.

Making her first appearance in a Wimbledon final since falling to Venus Williams in 2007, Bartoli certainly posses the talent to finally come out on top. Disposing of rising American Sloane Stephens in the quarterfinals and then walking away with a 6-1, 6-2 semifinal victory over Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens, Bartoli is playing extremely well at the right time.
