Ryan Seacrest Applauds 'Wheel of Fortune' Contestant for Stunningly Incorrect Puzzle Solution: 'I Like Yours Better'

"Wheel of Fortune" host Ryan Seacrest made a contestant on Monday's Veteran's Day episode feel a lot better about his shockingly off-the-mark answer by saying he preferred his response.

"Treat yourself to a round of sausage," contestant Will Jordan answered with little conviction while guessing a speed round puzzle.

"Give yourself a round of applause," the next contestant correctly answered.

"Although, Will, I kind of like yours better. That sounds better than just clapping right now," Seacrest assured him.

Jordan, a retired Coast Guard veteran, told WTNH it was a dream come true for him to get on the show, but added it was also an overwhelming experience.

"The wind was taken right out of my sail, right, I'm thinking, oh my god, six, eight million people just watched an incorrect answer," Jordan said before adding it was still "kind of funny, too."

Social media users couldn't get enough of Jordan's answers.

"You've never been to a bar and bought a round of sausage for everyone?," one X user joked.

"The A in asausage is silent," another added.

Omaha Steaks even chimed in with an offer to treat Jordan "to a round of our finest Kielbasas, Brats, and Franks."
