For a long time, Taylor Swift has been one of the artists rumored to be in the Zocalo of Mexico City, as part of the free cultural events to the public organized by the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum.
Apparently, the rumors could be true, as Sheinbaum stated that they are analyzing the possibility of bringing the American singer to Zocalo.
In an interview with Ingrid Coronado and Tamara Vargas on a radio program, the mayor stated that they are interested in having Taylor Swift in Mexico City.
"We are trying, it seems to me that she is coming to Mexico, we are not very sure, but we are going to try to bring her despite the complications that may arise from inviting an artist like her who is world-class. She is one of the most recognized singers of the moment, but believe us that we will do our best to invite and have the best singers in the world, it is a promise."
Those were statements made by the Mexico City Mayor
The head of government also wants to point out that the intention is to bring world-class artists to Mexico City, but without spending the nation's economic resources.
