During Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, royal fans spotted a “UFO (unidentified flying object) flyby” that left them shocked and concerned.
The Royal Air Force orchestrated a flypast on Thursday morning as part of the event programming for the long Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend, reported Lad Bible. It saw the Queen and other members of the Royal Family gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. While the monarch and others smiled up at the skies from London, some people watching along at home found themselves distracted by a bizarre detail. They apparently spotted what they believed might be a UFO.
The assumption was made after a small white object was caught on camera zooming alongside the jets. According to Daily Star, videos from several angles, including Sky and Big Jet TV, showed the mysterious object streaking across the sky at blistering pace.
One person asked on Twitter what was that "object in the jet stream at the Queen’s Jubilee event?” Another shared that people got two angles of it at least, and it appeared to "move across the trail at a 90 degree angle." The person noted that it was a real thing that moved across the sky rapidly in broad daylight, and that it went way too "fast to be a drone or balloon in the wind. I'm inclined to say this is genuine.”
Someone else claimed that it was a deliberate sign from space. The person wrote that it seemed like a warning. The fan noted that more than 70 military aircraft flew during the celebration, and that they were buzzing their acrobatic jets. The person wrote, “Disclosure now, they are giving the signal, it’s time.”
But there were many who weren’t quite so convinced by the idea. Some said that it was simply a "bird" or a "white balloon" from the festivities. One noted that the object was just a "white balloon caught in the wind currents of the jets.”
UNILAD reported that it should go without saying that UK authorities would have been all over, providing security for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. So it's highly unlikely anything unauthorized would have been in the sky at the time of the celebration. But there might be some technology out there that would allow a visiting species to go undetected by UK's forces.
