What does Harrison Ford and the royal baby have in common?
Wait for it...
Their birthdays!
It turns out, that last week, at a very private barbecue, the royal couple was discussing some very private baby details with friends. "Some of Kate and William's closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently. They were all discussing the fact that Kate's baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone was very excited," said an unnamed source that attended the gathering.
If this date turns out to be accurate, the baby will arrive in the middle of the four-day Coronation Festival, which will take place July 11-14, to mark when Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953.
She became queen on the day her father, King George VI, died in February 1952, but her coronation took place 16 months later because it takes so long to organize that kind of event, with a religious and civic ceremony and taking into consideration centuries of traditions.
Meanwhile, William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have kept any information regarding the baby on the down-low. To break the news of her pregnancy, the couple was forced to reveal that it was in fact true, when Kate was rushed into the King Edward VII hospital with severe morning sickness in December.
No one knew how far along she was then, but sources say she hadn't undergone the 12-week scan, which was probably the reason why no one had said anything because they wanted to make sure the Duchess and the royal baby were in perfect health before the big announcement.
The Clarence House Press Office could not comment on the due-date report, but reiterated, "The baby is expected to be born in July."
