The royal baby due date is fast approaching, and the little royal bundle should arrive by Saturday. At least that is what Prince William's stepmother and grandma to be Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall is saying.

Photographers have been stationed outside the entrance to the Lindo Wing of Saint Mary's hospital. It is there Kate Middleton will give birth to the heir to the British throne. No matter the child's sex, he or she will be crowned as the monarch following Prince William who will succeed his father Prince Charles.

In what has to be the most anticipated birth in English history, the royal family has been keeping quiet on details about the royal baby. The wife of Prince Charles, Camila Duchess of Cornwall, while attending a public event with Prince Charles, said she is hoping the child will arrive by the end of the week.

"We are just all waiting by the telephone," the Duchess of Cornwall said. "We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here."

At first it was rumored the Duchess of Cambridge would give birth to her first child at the beginning of this week. With the unofficial due date having come and gone, photographers are camping out in front of the hospital to catch a glimpse of the Prince or Princess of Cambridge whenever that may be.
