For the 12th time, pop star Rihanna has earned herself a No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

"'Diamonds' darts to the penthouse courtesy of gains on all three of the Hot 100's component charts," Billboard's Gary Trust reported. "It becomes Rihanna's record-extending 12th No. 1 on Digital Songs, where it climbs 3-1 with a 19% increase to 171,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan (and passes 1 million downloads sold to date). The song logs a second week atop On-Demand Songs (1.05 million on-demand streams, according to Nielsen BDS), good for top Streaming Gainer honors on the Hot 100, and pushes 4-2 on Radio Songs with 115 million all-format audience impressions (up 17%), according to BDS."

Billboard estimated that RiRi's seventh studio album, "Unapologetic" will sell up to $250,000 in its first week. The album came out on Monday.

Rihanna's album has been getting rave reviews - The Chicago Tribune says the album's songs "celebrate live-for-the-moment hedonism."

Ebony magazine calls the album on the of the singer's most solid.

Jon Caramanica of the New York Times called the album her best ever and "the breath of cool, nourishing air."

On Tuesday, Rihanna ended her weeklong 777 Tour. The singer took over 200 journalists and fans to seven countries for seven concerts.
