On Wednesday morning, Rihanna took to Instagram, to open up about her “overwhelming” year followed by a close-up selfie of the star, pouting at the lens with her signature red lips and a black hat on.

She addressed her loved ones, family and co-workers in the heartwarming post and apologised to them for her busy schedule. In the post, Ri-Ri sported a white tee, captioned “Art School Dropout” and completed her looks with solid gold chains. "To all my friends/family/coworkers who I have yet to get back to in the past months...please forgive me. This year has been quite an overwhelming one, and I’m working on that ish called Balance. brb," wrote Rihanna.

Over the past few months, the “Unfaithful” singer has been in the limelight on both her personal life and professional endeavors.
