Reyli Arrested For Testing Positive On Cocaine And Attacking Police Officers

Reyli has been arrested in Mexicali, Baja California in Mexico for allegedly consuming drugs and attacking police officers, El Universal reports. According to the same publication, authorities were informed that an individual was in an inconvenient state inside his vehicle outside a self-service store. When officials arrived at the scene, they found the singer and songwriter intoxicated. Police asked the "Descarada" hitmaker to step out of his automobile and that's when things started getting violent. Backup was called to contain Reyli and he was transported to a local police station where he was given a toxicological test. The singer tested positive for cocaine and alcohol consumption.

The former "Elefante" frontman has been rumored to battling drug addiction in the past. A little over a year ago he was admitted to the hospital after having a nervous breakdown. After examination it was found that he had an overdose and was violent as if he was not fully there mentally. When he was taken to the hospital, witnesses said that he yelled "why do you have me kidnapped?" Reyli remained in the Hospital Español for about a week while he came back to his senses and insiders say that he was so violent the first days that he had to be tied down to his bed.
