Friday night in Redondo Beach California 38-year-old Bobby Darren Reynolds was gunned down by members of the NSR-13 gang. Police are currently searching for Erick Julian Ortega the man they believed is responsible for the Redondo Beach shooting.
Two suspects believed to be involved with the shooting have already been arrested but the search continues for Ortega. Local California ABC News reports that Eduardo Antonio Losa and Ortega executed the murder while Losa's girlfriend is reported to be an accessory.
"Mr. Reynolds was completely defenseless," UPI reports police Capitan Jeff Hink as saying. "This was a cold blooded heartless attack."
The police have no motive for the Redondo Beach shooting. Reynolds a father of two was visiting family when he was gunned down by the gang members.
"We still believe that [Reynolds] was specifically targeted based on the way the shooting occurred. We don't know why," ABC reports Capitan Hink as saying.
Ortega is 27-years old with a prior arrest record. His previous arrests include robbery and narcotics trafficking. He has identifying tattoos on his head and arms including the letters "H" and "A." He also has a marijuana left tattooed on his right arm, a naked woman on the same arm and a clown on his left shoulder.
Police consider this man dangerous and urge anyone who has seen him to call 911. The International Business Times says Reynolds's family has reported he has no ties to any gang activity and are confident the police will find Ortega.
