Papaya cream and fresh fruit parfait.

Delicious doesn't always have to be time consuming, hard to make and expensive. The perfect example of this notion is this recipe by by Chef James Tahhan which calls for merely five ingredients and all but one ingredient are fruits or herbs. The simple nature of this recipe also means it'll be light to eat and perfect for the summer.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vanilla ice cream
1 ripe papaya
Fresh mint chopped into thin strips
6 kiwis
1 ripe pineapple

Directions

We add the pulp of papaya in a blender until well blended. Then add the vanilla ice cream and let the mixture becomes creamy good. We leave aside.

Cut the fruit in the way that you like best and then begin to form layers or levels, one fruit and one of the papaya cream.
