The Seattle Mariners just couldn't catch a break in their recent game against the Toronto Blue Jays -- even after the game was over. Raúl Ibañez attempted to throw a ball from left field during Tuesday night's game and wound up sending it into the ground before it clumsily bounced off. The throw has already been compared to Carly Rae Jepsen's opening pitch during a Tampa Bay Rays and Houston Astros game in mid-July.
The team committed four errors total during the game and ultimately floundered, 7-2. Ibanez' mistake granted José Bautista a run, who scored by running all the way from first. That was the Blue Jays' seventh run of the game, according to Bleacher Report. The flub has already been giffed and posted to YouTube.
