The queen may be a royal, but she is a grandmother at heart who dotes on all her grandchildren. According to details that have surfaced online about an incident that happened a while ago, the monarch was concerned about the children’s communication skills.

In an interview with Express, the Queen’s cousin Lady Elizabeth Anson revealed the concerns the monarch had when she had invited the family over for dinner. During the dinner, she observed that the children seemed to have forgotten how to converse with each other.

Anson said that the Queen confided in her about her concerns. She reportedly said that she observed that the children “didn’t really know how to talk each other.”

The reason why the children didn’t have enough time to talk to each other, according to the Queen, was that they didn’t have enough staff to do things for them. The monarch felt that the children were too busy helping the staff to do things like “ putting something in a dishwasher or whatever they’re doing.”

“They don't have enough staff,” the Queen said about the children.

The Queen has many people who help her with mundane tasks. She even reportedly has an assistant who helps her to break in her new shoes so that she doesn’t get blisters when she wears them.

Stylist Stewart Parvin explained why the Queen has an assistant to break in her shoes by saying that the monarch can never say that she can’t walk anymore because her shoes are uncomfortable. That is why her shoes have to be comfortable as soon as she wears them.

The Queen may want her grandchildren to have the same amount of luxury that she enjoys. According to Express she also has a favorite grandchild. An insider previously confirmed that the monarch is very close to Louise, and the second favorite seems to be James.
