Queen Elizabeth is just like any other woman who needs lingerie. However, it’s just more interesting to know where she gets her supply since she’s a royal. It was revealed that Princess Diana and Princess Margaret also bought their underwear from the same retailer as the Queen’s, and this was actually their favorite luxury lingerie brand.

The shop is a known undergarment company called Rigby & Peller, and it made Her Majesty’s undies for 50 years. Since it was granted a British royal warrant to be one of the official suppliers of the royal family, it fitted most of the lingerie not just for Queen Elizabeth but for other female royals as well.

However, in 2017, Rigby & Peller lost its royal warrant after it revealed intimate bra-fitting details of the Queen. Based on the documentary, Queen Elizabeth broke their family’s ties to the shop after the company’s former owner, June Keaton, released a book titled “Storm In A D-Cup.”

The writer of the book personally fitted bras for the Queen, and the Palace was devastated with her candid reveal of sizes and other intimate details of the royals’ undergarments. In the documentary that was released on Channel 5 this year, Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burell, disclosed that Keaton comes to Buckingham Palace to take the Queen’s measurements.

“Even royals change shape over time so their undergarments measurements change shape as well,” Burrell was quoted as saying via Express. “So someone comes from Rigby & Peller and measures Her Majesty’s requirements to provide the most excellent undergarments.”

Burell also explained that Ms. Keaton did not lose her company’s royal warrant simply because she divulged Queen Elizabeth’s measurements. He said that the Palace was “repelled” when she detailed to the public how she visits the Queen to measure her body and even shared how she heard that she will be stripped of her warrant because of her book.

The royal warrants are given to companies so they can be the official supplier and provider of services to the members of the royal family. Only three royals are able to give out such warrants, and they are Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Prince Charles.

While Rigby & Peller no longer serves Queen Elizabeth, the company grew, and it has nine shops now operating around London. It lost the royals as its clients but gained the likes of Hollywood personalities such as Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow. The lingerie outlet sells undergarments for £50 to £200.
