Queen Elizabeth won’t approve of Meghan Markle’s desire to raise her baby as a vegan. It has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to ensure that their firstborn would grow up as healthy as possible.
However, a royal insider claimed that Her Majesty is furious with the idea. The Queen and Meghan allegedly had tensed discussions about the diet, and this placed Prince Harry in an awkward position because he didn’t want to upset his grandmother.
“He’s hoping Meghan will settle once the baby comes and he’s putting this latest polarizing idea down to heightened emotions while being pregnant,” the source said. “Meghan keeps pushing the boundaries with the royals and it’s not being well-received, least of all by Her Majesty,” the source added.
The insider also noted the fact that the Duchess of Sussex seems to have little regard for royal traditions. But wanting to raise her child as a vegan is something that the monarch would never tolerate.
Meanwhile, the recent revelation is that it’s the second time in recent weeks that Meghan reportedly had a disagreement with Her Majesty. Last week, it was reported that the “Suits” alum rejected the 92-year-old’s offer to hire her team of doctors.
Meghan reportedly doesn’t want her baby to be brought into the world by the men in suits. She has also hired her own team, which will be led by a female doctor. However, there are claims suggesting that this information is inaccurate.
Jack Elsom, a journalist for Daily Mail, said that the rumor regarding Meghan’s snubbing the Queen only intensified the claims that the Duchess of Sussex is faking her pregnancy. A YouTube account with thousands of subscribers recently attacked the pregnant royal.
One of the videos uploaded on the site claimed that they have proof that Meghan is faking her pregnancy. The clip claimed that Prince Harry’s wife is only wearing a prosthetic belly.
Kensington Palace previously confirmed Meghan’s pregnancy. The Duchess of Sussex also said that she is scheduled to give birth sometime this month or in May, which proves that she’s really pregnant.
