'Que Te Perdone Dios' Episode 5 Univision Telenovela: Zuria Vega's Abigail Makes First Appearance; Renata Goes Blind After Accident

During the premiere week of "Que Te Perdone Dios" we met Renata, a young woman that fell in love with a field worker. Her father Bruno does not allow this romance to happen and does everything to stop it. He sends the evil Fausto to kill him after he finds out that Renata was pregnant and planning to run away with the love of her life. Bruno forces his daughter to give up her daughter and marries Fausto with the impression that she would help her regain custody of her baby. Episode 5 has Renata (Irán Castillo) threatening Fausto (Sergio Goyri) with a gun asking him if he planned the murder of Pablo (Brandon Peniche). Renata slaps Fausto which infuriates him. She runs up the stairs and into her bedroom and he rapes her. Renata says she will accuse him of abuse, but Fausto assures her that nobody will believe her as she sleeps around with the field workers.

Apparently in this telenovela DNA tests do not exists as Renata says she will go against Macaria to take back her daughter, but Fausto reminds her that Macaria is registered under her name. So can't Renata start a trial to claim that Abigail is in reality her daughter? Fausto visits Macaria and slaps her for telling Renata the truth. Macaria's intentions were to have Renata leave Fausto, so she could have her path free with him. Renata takes Abigail and plans to run away with her and her mother during the middle of a heavy storm. Renata says Abigail is sick and needs to take her to the doctor, but Fausto doesn't allow her to leave. Instead Macaria, Constanza and Abigail act like they are going to the hospital so Fausto doesn't suspect of their plans. Renata later escapes in a truck, but one of the workers see's her leave and tells Fausto.

Renata is blocked by cows on the road. Renata is being persecuted by Fausto in another truck. Renata is cut off by Lucio (Alejandro Avila) and makes her truck tumble. Fausto notices that she is alive and is ready to kill her, but towns people are approaching and he doesn't follow through. Eighteen years pass by and we find out Renata (now played by Rebecca Jones) lost her vision in the accident. Abigail (Zuria Vega) is all grown up now. Fausto catches her swimming in a lake and tells her to get out of there and not make the same mistake that her mother Macaria made, having a daughter at a young age. Renata still believes Macaria (now played by Sabine Moussier) is a good woman that sacrificed her life to raise Abigail.

Mateo (Mark Tacher) and Abigail have held a friendship through letters they write each other. E-mail hasn't been invented in this telenovela or maybe it's more romantic? Constanza (Ana Bertha Espin) completely lost her mind after everything that went down in the past. She now lives in an alternative universe where her dead husband Bruno is still alive. Mateo is now a doctor and has a little girlfriend named Diana Montero (Altair Jarabo). Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Monday we will finally see Mateo and Abigail together, which will obviously not be well received by Diana Montero. "Que Te Perdone Dios" airs Monday through Friday at 10pm ET/PT on Univision.
