Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children are well known for being the cute little kids that they are. Despite being exposed to the media at such a young age, there’s actually very little that we know about them and how they act behind closed doors. Here are some interesting facts about Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
These Are Their Real Names
Based on royal tradition, royal babies are always given three names. Hence, William and Kate’s children were given these names: George Alexander Louis for Prince George, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana for Princess Charlotte and Louis Arthur Charles for the young Prince Louis. Charlotte’s name, sweetly nicknamed “Lottie,” is apparently a homage to Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth.
Louis Set A Record
Prince Louis actually set a record at the moment of his birth, being named the heaviest Cambridge baby at 8 pounds and 7 ounces. Not only that, but he’s also the heaviest newborn heir in about 100 years.
George Is Known To Be Naugthy
Prince George, William and Kate’s eldest child, is known to be quite the rascal. William and Kate had to leave the kids at home when they went to India because of George’s rowdiness. “Because George is too naughty. He would be running all over the place,” Kate said. “The next time we come we will definitely bring them.”
“He’s a little monkey,” Prince William once said about the boy. “He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I'm not sure, but he's doing very well at the moment,” William said in another instance.
Charlotte Is A “Sweet” Baby
Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, was much easier to handle compared to Prince George. “Charlotte is very easy, she is sweet,” Prince William said. “But all the fathers say to me ‘just you wait, when they get to nine or 11 they get crazy’. I'm looking forward to it. There will be some drama.”
Charlotte Is “The Boss”
Despite being the sweet young girl that she is, she is actually “the boss” when it comes to dealing with her older brother. “Charlotte is growing up really fast,” Kate once remarked. “She is the one in charge.”
George Doesn’t Know Yet That He Will Be King
The young George, already third in the line of succession, doesn’t know anything about his future as the king of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. “There'll be a time and a place to bring George up and understand how he fits in, in the world,” William said about it.
