Prince William recently made headlines after a photo of him biting his lip while staring at Kate Middleton made rounds online. The snap was taken during the couple’s recent outing with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The photo, which was uploaded online via Twitter user DuchessKateMid’s account, shows Prince William wearing a great hat and oversized green jacket. He is standing behind his wife and daughter while holding a cup of warm drink.
While Kate is holding hands with Princess Charlotte and bowing her head, Prince William stares at her while biting his lip. Even though the gesture wasn’t intended to be passionate, it still proved how much love and admiration the future king has for his wife.
Royal fans could not help but call Prince William naughty for biting his lip while looking at the Duchess of Cambridge. One royal family supporter also uploaded a GIF of Prince William dancing. Another royal fan shared a GIF of Prince William smirking at Kate during their royal wedding 8 years ago.
Prince William and Kate have been together for many years, that’s why it’s not surprising to know how comfortable they are with each other. Even though they are not as touchy-feely as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, they are still affectionate toward each other during non-formal occasions.
The couple first met at St. Andrews, where they were both studying. After dating for a couple of years, Prince William and Kate decided to go their separate ways. During their split, Kate traveled to another country, while Prince William also pursued other things.
Months after their split, the couple decided to get back together. And it didn’t take them very long to get engaged after that. During their first sit-down interview as an engaged couple, Kate said that it was necessary for them to go their separate ways at that time.
“I think at the time I wasn’t very happy about it but actually it made me a stronger person,” she said. “You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realized. Or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you’re younger,” she added.
