Pictures of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their son Archie visiting a local pub have surfaced online. This appears to be the first such low-key public outing for the little royal, but he reportedly spent most of the time their napping.
Prince Harry and Markle were spotted with their son at The Rose & Crown pub in Windsor England recently. Pictures of their outing have been posted on TMZ. The pub is close to Frogmore Cottage, which is the house of the two royals.
The royals didn’t make any attempts to stand out, and instead they were able to blend in with the local crowd with ease. Prince Harry reportedly held on to the car seat of his son while his wife carried the baby-related things.
The royal couple is said to have spent about two hours at the pub. Archie did not make any noise throughout that time. The baby had a blanket over him, and he was napping.
Prince Harry and Markle had roast dinner. The Duke of Sussex also ordered a few pints of beer while the Duchess only had water.
The royals were accompanied by two police officers and private security, but many of the customers at the pub reportedly didn’t recognize them. The staff there treated them just like everybody else, and the patrons didn’t bother them.
An eyewitness told People that Archie was a “happy baby” during the pub outing. “He has lovely, puffy little legs and tufts of reddish hair,” the source said and added that the baby is “really adorable.”
A businessman who was there at the pub said that Markle cradled her son most of the time they were there. “The little lad was as good as gold, I didn’t hear him cry once while he was there,” he said about Archie.
