Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have hired three nannies for baby Archie in three months. While the new and third nanny seems promising, some cannot help but wonder why they are going through their nannies so fast.
A new nanny is hired to help the Duchess of Sussex care for her firstborn. She was spotted boarding the plane in Nice, where Markle and Harry, plus their baby had been staying. The royal family resided temporarily at Elton John’s £15million pad while in the city.
According to the insider, the nanny was truly a blessing for Markle. “Meghan is a very hands-on mum but the new nanny is a godsend. She is extremely professional, with a number of nannying years under her belt, and has fitted into the family really well,” the source told the Sun.
As of now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are quite happy with the new nanny. “She’s great with little Archie and just adores him. Harry and Meghan are very happy with her,” the insider reported. Until when is the question, considering she’s the third one just in three months. Baby Archie was born back in May.
According to some reports, the first two nannies were let go for valid reasons. The first one was described as being unprofessional. The second nanny was only available for night shifts, which was not working for Markle. The third may not be a live-in nanny, but she is so far, considered a delight. She will be joining the royal family for their royal tour next month.
Some question why she goes through her nannies so fast, especially when Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge hired Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo as a nanny when Prince George was just eight months old. She is still with the family, five years after, taking care not just of George, but also his siblings, Charlotte and Louis.
Also, some of her staff just left one after another, bringing in the question of whether it is her or them that is the issue.
Last November, Meghan’s PA Melissa Touabti quit after six months with rumors that she’d been reduced to tears. A few weeks after, Harry and Meghan's private secretary Samantha Cohen resigned. It was a waste considering she already worked 17 years with the royals. Just this January, Markle's female bodyguard resigned after working just six months. Following her are assistant private secretaries Amy Pickerall and Heather Wong.
Markle will be left alone with baby Archie in South Africa, so having hired help is extremely important. Prince Harry will be visiting Botswana, Angola, and Malawi.
She is the latest addition to the so-called “Team Meghan.” The former “Suits” star has recently hired a housekeeper to look after them and assist with some chores while they stay at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. A private secretary is another member of this team, which hails from the Foreign Service department- none other than former ambassador Fiona Mcilwham, as Express UK reported.
