After months of rumors and speculation regarding the participation of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the couple have reportedly flown from Los Angeles to the United Kingdom for the Trooping the Colour parade, which will start off the celebrations.

Prince Harry and Meghan, with their children Archie and Lilibet in tow, will reportedly be flying into England with a small group of staffers to prepare for and celebrate the four-day Platinum Jubilee centering around the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, according to Vanity Fair.

Harry and Meghan will also reportedly attend the Trooping the Colour parade as spectators, as well as a Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday. In the midst of all of these events, the couple and their family will also celebrate Lilibet’s first birthday in Frogmore Cottage.

In spite of their attendance at the Trooping the Colour parade, neither Harry nor Meghan will be with the Queen at the Buckingham Palace balcony, as it will only have the current senior ranking working royals “who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen.”

The former working royals have also been provided with a high-level police security team during the Jubilee and other royal events, which comes after Harry took legal action in attempting to get security for his family whenever they are in the United Kingdom, Elle Magazine reported.

“The Met's Royalty and Specialist Protection unit has been working with Harry's crew to get him taxpayer-funded officers over the past weeks,” a source said of the matter. “The family will get armed police protection while at royal events or at Frogmore Cottage.”

Harry has stressed the importance of the safety of his family, saying in an interview with a reporter in April that they would not attend the Platinum Jubilee unless their security was ensured.

“There's a lot of things with security issues and everybody else,” Harry said. “This is what I'm trying to do, make it possible for my kids to meet her.”
