Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Intentionally Distancing Themselves From Royal Family?

Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle even sad that they do not have a good relationship with the royal family? While there is a sense that half of the rifts being reported in the palace are mere made-up rumors, it can also be felt that half are true, and some of these can be attributed to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves.

There is a sense that the two are as stubborn as the Palace in healing their relationship. They are not the victims, or the rebels - just royals who would not exhaust methods to at least mend ties if they could not submit to royal protocols and whatnots.

The two are currently taking a much-deserved, much-needed break from the spotlight and royal duties. This break will also mean the two are going to miss the annual royal Christmas gathering.

Even though it has already been revealed that Queen Elizabeth is fine about the decision, knowing Markle is American and should spend Christmas with her own family, many opined that the two just missed a perfectly good opportunity to heal some of the tension in the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex certainly had a tough year so far, though. Spending Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland might be the right thing to do. Not only will it introduce Baby Archie to the American side of his family, but it will also be the chance to recharge for the royals.

They were recently at the forefront of a controversial documentary, where they detailed the unfair treatment they had been receiving from the media, the palace, and the public. Markle specifically claimed that she was not oaky after delivering her first baby, and yet no one asked her how she was feeling. Instead, she had to suffer an onslaught of attacks from the press.

The documentary did not sit well with the palace because it was not used to airing dirty laundry in the public.

There is now a circulating opinion that by missing out on the annual celebrations at the Palace, the two can be blamed for the ongoing rift between them and the rest of the royals - Queen Elizabeth, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, most specifically. Had they decide to spend Christmas in the palace, the public might be placated that nothing is wrong with the royal family at least.

At present, as reported by People, “no one” in the royal family is “checking in” with the two. The tension brought about by the documentary is abating now, but a source claimed nothing has truly healed yet. “Nothing has changed. They don’t speak, no one is checking in, no one is texting.”
