Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are reportedly planning to remarry after 23 years of being divorced. The palace has declined to comment about the issue, but royal fans seem to be celebrating the news.
There are talks that Prince Andrew and Sarah are still very much together despite their separation. Now a source told New Idea that they are ready to make their reunion official and tell the world of their plans.
“Andrew is doing everything he can to bring Fergie back into the royal fold,” the insider said. After years of absence, Ferguson returned to the royal circle when she attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018. Since then, her presence is usually felt.
A source from the Palace revealed that Sarah was at the Trooping the Colour’s preview and Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding. She was also seen standing side by side with Prince Andrew for family photos at their daughter’s, Princess Eugenie’s, wedding in October.
The couple also went to see the Bahrain Grand Prix with their daughters. When Sarah attended Lady Windsor’s wedding in May, she even took her seat beside Prince Edward at the party. However, it is said that Prince Andrew is still not allowed to bring her to official events until they officially get married again.
This is why Prince Andrew is rushing their alleged wedding plans, the source revealed. The source also confirmed that they already had a private ceremony in Mexico over Christmas and that the family had been celebrating their “renewed love.”
Although nothing is official yet, the family photo that both Sarah and Princess Eugenie posted on their respective Instagram accounts seemed to confirm their reunion. Royal fans couldn’t help but celebrate and leave their comments on the snap, suggesting that they should remarry, while some said they are true “soul mates.”
Prince Andrew allegedly wants their marriage to be official and plans to do it on Sarah’s 60th birthday in October. Their daughters are said to be delighted with the news and are celebrating their reunion.
However, Express.co.uk revealed that Buckingham Palace refused to get involved on the issue, which is only based on “internet speculation.” It also declined to give comment when asked.
