One of Pablo Alborán's biggest dreams came true over the weekend, when he nabbed his first-ever Premios Goya award. At the 30th annual event that honored the best in Spanish film of 2015, the Spanish crooner won Best Original Track for his single "Palmeras En La Nieve," which is part of the romantic drama with the same title directed by Fernando Gonzalez Molina.
"Thank you for this dream come true," the singer expressed on social media, thanking the Academia de Cine for his recognition. "Thank you to everyone who wholeheartedly feels happy for me when good things happen, this is ours," he added. One person who was thrilled with Pablo's win was Spanish actor Antonio Banderas, who left the following comment on the singer's Facebook page: "My most sincerest congratulations. Great work!," he wrote. "Maestro, what can I say? I'm very excited and grateful," Alborán responded.
Will Pablo have the same luck at the 58th annual Grammys, where he's nominated for Best Latin Pop Album with "Terral"? We will have to wait and see! In the meantime, check out how the singer celebrated his big win and listen to the song below!
