Pedro Quezada won the $338M Powerball jackpot and immediately felt "pure joy" after New Jersey lottery officials declared him the winner of the fourth largest jackpot in Powerball history. However, the convenience store owner is going to see $29,000 less of his winnings due to unpaid child support.

Quezada owes $29,000 in child support for his five children or he could be arrested, stated authorities.

Authorities in Passaic County, N.J., where Quezada lives and owns a bodega, said they paid a visit to the 44-year-old to inform him that he needed to pay up "in a timely manner."

On Tuesday, Quezada claimed his winnings of $152M in a lump sum after taxes. Quezada has five children ranging from age 5 to 23, who live in North Carolina with their mother.

Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik told the North Jersey Record that the New Jersey Lottery Division generally pays out a winner's back taxes and child support before cutting a check.

However, Quezada still owes the money to the mother of his children, the sheriff warned, "like everyone else, until this warrant is satisfied, Mr. Quezada is subject to potential arrest."
