The Pokémon Direct broadcast just ended and as expected Nintendo announced "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" will be coming to the 3DS console this year.
Both 3DS titles were unveiled during today's Pokemon Direct broadcast. The announcement wasn't a total shock, as trademarks for the games leaked yesterday all but confirming their existence.
Furthermore, Nintendo also announced the Virtual Console versions of the original Pokémon games will now allow for Pokémon transfers. Which means any Pokémon you caught or traded in Red, Blue or Yellow can now be added to your latest 3DS console and Pokémon title using Pokébank.
There is no clear release date but gamers can expect both "Pokémon Moon" and "Pokémon Sun" to arrive Holiday 2016. No new legendaries or evolution possibilities weren't mentioned during the brief Direct broadcast.
