The mythical Pokémon Hoopa will finally arrive to the 3DS. A distribution event has been announced for "Pokémon X & Y" as well as "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire."
According to Serebii the distribution will come to Europe first. This distribution will run in GAME stores in the UK from Oct. 23 to Nov. 5 and Gamestop stores in Germany from Oct. 16 to Nov. 7. France and Spain dates are still forthcoming. The Pokémon will need to be obtained via a Serial Code. For gamers in the west, a press release has revealed that a distribution will arrive later this year.
Serebii also reports that the Pokémon will be level 50 and come with the ability Magician. The Hoopa will also be holding a Focus Sash, which prevents the Pokémon from being KO'd when hit by a powerful attack. Hoopa's moveset will include Astonish, Psychic, Nasty Plot and Hyperspace Hole, which is a unique attack only Hoopa knows.
Again the Serial Code can be used for sixth generation Pokémon games including: "Pokémon X & Y" and "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire." Gamers should remember that in ORAS you can get Hoopa Unbound, which is a powerful form of the Pokémon. The following is from the Pokémon website:
"Change Hoopa's form into Hoopa Unbound in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire! When you enter a Poké Mart with Hoopa in your party in either of these games, you will be able to hear an eerie tale from a worker there and receive the mysterious Prison Bottle. This bottle releases Hoopa from its bonds and allows it to change into Hoopa Unbound!"
Check out Hoopa Unbound in the trailer below and we'll bring you more on the distribution event as it becomes available.
